Bouihou hails France's rising star

Toulouse captain Jean Bouihou says the reigning Top 14 Champions have incredibly high expectations of their latest backline sensation, 21-year-old Maxime Medard.
The European giants get their Heineken Cup campaign underway when they host Guinness Premiership side Bath on Sunday and will be looking to their latest talent to spark yet another successful start to a new European season.
The lively fullback was recently named the Top 14’s Best Young Player for the 2007/2008 season and is also widely tipped to earn a spot in the French national side sooner rather than later.
Medard joins Vincent Clerc, Cedric Heymans and Yannick Jauzion as graduates from the Toulouse backline production line and Bouihou believes there is still far more to come from the talented for U-21 star.
"Maxime is a very good player and he will only improve,
"Last year, his confidence was very high, he played so well and his physicality was incredible.
"He is strong, has a good step and I think he will be a famous player for France for years to come."
The club from the South-West of France is expected to progress from their group with Bath, Newport-Gwent Dragons and Edinburgh set to fight be in a tight race for the final spot.
