Talented All Black fullback Mils Muliaina has become the latest Kiwi to catch the poaching eye of European clubs, as the Cardiff Blues have shown a strong interest in the 64 Test-capped star.
According to the Wales on Sunday newspaper, the Chiefs gunner is on the Cardiff Blues' hit-list, with the Welsh side looking to snap up a top utility back from either New Zealand or Australia.
The Welsh region will move to a new 27,000-seat stadium next season, and according to the report, they are desperate to sign a marquee player and Muliaina tops the short-list of high profile Southern hemisphere targets.
The Blues already have several New Zealanders on their books - namely Ben Blair, Jason Spice, Paul Tito and Xavier Rush, while the region signed Jonah Lomu on a short-term contract three years ago.
The Blues have however missed out on many Southern hemisphere star signings that have hit the UK over the past few years, and are keen to keep pace with their club rivals.
