Wasps admit crisis but no panic

Beleaguered Wasps boss Shaun Edwards admits that his side's performance in their 41-11 defeat to Leinster in the Heineken Cup on Saturday was “the worst” he’d ever seen his side play.
The reigning Guinness Premiership Champions have had a terrible start to the new season and are desperate to rediscover the confidence and momentum they had during the final stages of the 2007/2009 season.
With their Heineken Cup campaign now severely dented, Edwards says his primary concern, first and foremost, is to solve his sides problems with dealing with the high ball.
"My major concern is getting someone to catch the ball when it goes up into the air and being able to clear our lines," he said, speaking to the Daily Mail.
"We're unable to deal with the opposition kicking game. It's killing us. The consequences are alarming but we will not over-react.”
Edwards insists that remains the key for the London side. He refuses to panic and insists that the players in the team are still good enough to do the business that is expected of them.
"These players have given us some fantastic achievements and I'm not about to drop them. It's important to give them the chance to play themselves out of this slump. There will obviously be harsh words between us this week.
"We've lost big games before but we've never had a scoreline as bad as this. That's the worst I've seen us play in a big game for some years and it leaves me feeling gravely concerned."
