The Citing Commissioner for the Round 1 Heineken Cup Pool 2 match London Wasps v Castres Olympique at Adams Park on Sunday, 12 October, 2008, lodged a citing against Castres Olympique player Phil Christophers (No 13).
As the citing was lodged outside the 50-hour citing window by the Citing Commissioner, the request was reviewed by Professor Lorne Crerar, Chairman of the independent Disciplinary Panel, to determine whether the citing should go forward to an independent Disciplinary Committee.
Professor Lorne Crerar determined there were insufficient grounds to extend the citing deadline and accordingly has dismissed the citing.
