Struggling London Wasps have announced the signing of current Waikato coach Tony Hanks on a short-term contract.
Hanks will join the team from November 1 until the end of March, as he tries to help lighten the heavy load on Lions-bound duo, Ian McGeechan and Shaun Edwards.
Thirty-seven year-old Hanks took over at Waikato from current Wales boss Warren Gatland at the beginning of the season after spending three years as his fellow Kiwi’s assistant.
