European referees, 3 & 4

The European Rugby Cup has announced the appointments of match officials to Rounds 3 and 4 of the Heineken Cup and the European Challenge Cup.
Alan Lewis will be in charge when Stade Français Paris and Harlequins break new ground when they play their Heineken Cup Pool 4 match at Stade de France on Saturday, 6 December.
The French national stadium will be the 84th venue to stage Heineken Cup action when the leading Irish referee controls the Round 3 clash between the 2007 French champions and the London club riding high in second place in the Guinness Premiership. The clubs - among the seven teams still able to boast two from two so far - are deadlocked on nine match points apiece and with 50 000 tickets already sold the match looks set to smash the current Heineken Cup Pool record attendance of 44 112.
Lewis is the only official to have refereed 50 or more Heineken Cup matches and when he takes charge of Perpignan's Round 4 match against Leicester Tigers on Sunday, 14 December it will be his 56th tournament appointment.
Rob Debney (England) will get the third Round of European club rugby action underway when he takes charge of the European Challenge Cup Pool 2 match between Montpellier and Toulon at Stade Yves du Manoir in Montpellier on Thursday, 4 December.
