Wasps win comes at a price

London Wasps on Monday issued an injury update for several of their key players ahead of their Heineken Cup clash at Edinburgh this weekend.
Pat Barnard, stretchered from the pitch on Friday at Kingston Park in Wasps' Premiership clash with Newcastle Falcons was a worrying casualty. Barnard was released from hospital on Friday night following x-rays and CT scans which revealed no bone injury in his neck. He will continue to be under the observation of London Wasps medical team this week.
Simon Shaw continues to work with Wasps' rehab team, following a knock to the leg in England's clash with South Africa which ruled him out of Wasps' Premiership clash with the Falcons.
Following a posterior cruciate ligament injury sustained in Wasps v Gloucester at Kingsholm on October 4, Dominic Waldouck has resumed full training at the club.
Sustaining a pectoralis major avulsion in Wasps' Premiership clash with Northampton Saints on September 20, Joe Ward has now returned to light training.
Joe Worsley also left the pitch at Kingston Park on Friday, and is being reviewed after sustaining a lateral ankle injury.
