Banned Dupuy may play in France

Stade Francais scrumhalf Julien Dupuy was interviewed by French officials on Thursday over his 23-week suspension for eye-gouging.
A Paris-based independent disciplinary commission, made up of representatives from the French Rugby Federation (FFR) and the French National Rugby League (LNR), are deliberating whether the ban should remain in its application to all competitions.
Dupuy, 26, was cited for gouging the eyes of Ulster flank Stephen Ferris during the Irish province's 23-13 Heineken Cup win over the Paris-based club in Belfast last December.
He has been suspended since January 13.
Stade Francais president Max Guazzini said he would do everything to dilute the ban.
"A private company based in Ireland [European Cup organisers European Rugby Cup] is preventing a salaried club member from working and playing [in France]," he said.
