BOD eyes domestic consolation

Brian O'Driscoll: All is not lost

Leinster, having lost their grip on Europe's most prized trophy, the Heineken Cup, are now looking to the Magners League for some consolation.

Leinster were knocked out by French giants Toulouse (26-16) at the weekend, with Irish legend Brian O'Driscoll telling his teammates to "regroup" and focus on the domestic scene now.

"We still have an opportunity to win the Magners League and we will try and re-group," O'Driscoll told a media gathering after his team's loss.

"We have to move on now and try to focus our minds on that one."

Leinster top the Magners League standings with one round to go before the play-offs and will be determined to bounce back.

"You get used to the ring of being European champions, but someone else is going to have the tag now and that's a disappointment," the Ireland captain continued.

"We've worked hard and have fallen short, but there's still the Magners League so we have to take this disappointment and move on.

"We talked about being in the Heineken Cup Final, but that's not going to happen so we'll have to make do with attempting to win the Magners League."
