Dusautoir: 'I came to Toulouse to win HC'

Thierry Dusautoir is setting his sights on a rather special Stade de France double this weekend as he seeks to end 67 minutes of heartbreak in Heineken Cup finals.
The Toulouse skipper lifted the Six Nations trophy on one of his last visits to the home of French international rugby and now he is looking to get the ‘Holy Grail’ of club rugby in his hands at the third time of asking.
The back row dynamo’s first foray into the final was with Biarritz back in 2006 when he was a 52nd minute replacement for Thomas Lievremont in the defeat against Munster in Cardiff.
Then came another body blow, at the same Millennium Stadium venue, when Munster beat his Toulouse side in 2008. Will it finally be third time lucky for the French captain?
"I came to Toulouse to win the Heineken Cup. They have been one of the most consistent teams in Europe, but we understand that consistency alone doesn't guarantee success," said Dusautoir.
"I have been dreaming about this for a long time and I'm hoping this will be the game that sees me reach my goal of winning the Heineken Cup.
"In many ways the most important game on the road to the final was the Pool match in London against Harlequins. That victory earned us our ticket to the final because we had so many injuries.
"It is too late now to do anything in the French Championship, so we will be going 100 per cent to win in Paris."
Dusautoir admits to being "bored" at answering questions about any split loyalty because of his time spent at Biarritz.
"I wasn't surprised that Biarritz beat Munster and, in my eyes, they really deserve to be in the final. They have a very good defence, they are very competitive and they have a great kicker in Dimitri Yachvili."
