Two U20 players suspended

An independent judicial committee heard and suspended two French players for dangerous tackles in the Junior World Championship match between France and Italy on Tuesday.
The players are centre Mathieu Bastareaud and wing Djibril Camara, both of the Stade Français club of Paris.
The hearings took place at the Millennium Stadium on Thursday after the second IRB Junior World Championship match day. The hearings were conducted by the independent judicial officer, Michael Coghlan of Ireland.
Mathieu Bastareaud, who was ordered off the field near the end of the match, was suspended for one match, making him unavailable for the match against Wales on 14 June.
Following the ordering off of France during the match against Italy on 10 June, ), has suspended the player for one match,
In the case of Djibril Camara the judicial officer found the offence proved and suspended the player for two matches, making him unavailable for matches against Wales (14 June) and on 18 June.
The players have 48 hours to appeal the decision.
