Glasgow Warriors have revealed the capture two of Scotland's biggest young talents when they unveiled Chris Kinloch and Richie Gray as their newest signings.
Kinloch already has international Sevens experience, while 19-year-old Richie Gray, who stands six foot eight inches tall, has impressed head coach Sean Lineen enormously.
Both players have been handed deals with the Glasgow-based Magners League outfit.
The new recruits accompanied captain Alastair Kellock at Firhill on Tuesday to visit the XV Challenge Vaquerin trophy, a title which they won during pre-season in France.
Speaking about Kinloch, Glasgow head coach Sean Lineen said: "Chris impressed us whilst on tour in France with his attitude and his hunger. He also scored a couple of nice tries.
"He is raw but I think he can develop here with us."
Kinloch added: "The tour to France was a massive opportunity for me and I was over the moon to receive a contract at the end of it. I knew it was my big chance."
On the larger of his two recruits, Gray, Lineen told glasgowwarriors.org that the club were dedicated to getting the best out of the player.
"We don't produce many of these guys in Scotland. He needs to be in a professional environment to realise his potential. He's a big man.
"He can be an exceptional player if he maintains his attitude. We had a fitness session [Monday] and he proved that he's got what it takes."
Gray also spoke of his move to the Glasgow set-up, and looked forward to the next chapter in his career.
"I was in the National Academy last year and had another season to go in my contract. But I got a surprise call from Sean Lineen last Wednesday asking me if I was keen to come along and train with Glasgow full-time.
"It's a fantastic opportunity for me to take my game to the next level."
