Edinburgh will welcome one of rugby's emerging nations, Georgia, to a glamour fixture at Meggetland next week.
The Georgians, who came within a score of beating Ireland during last year's Rugby World Cup, play Scotland A at Firhill in Glasgow on Friday night, and conclude their stay in Scotland with the match in the Capital on Tuesday, November 18.
Edinburgh's assistant coach, Rob Moffat, keenly anticipates the contest.
"We're delighted to get this fixture," he said.
"It will be ideal for the boys who have not been on international duty to test themselves against opposition who will pose a really physical challenge and who have also developed their back play.
"We've got a Magners League fixture against the Ospreys coming up then our back-to-back Heineken Cup ties against Wasps, so this match really couldn't have come at a much better time," he added.
