Ward faces biting charge

Their appearances follow the weekend's Premiership match between Harlequins and Saracens.

Rhys Gill of Saracens has been charged with dangerous tackling – contrary to Law 10.4(J).

Gill was sent off during the second half of the match after tip-tackling George Lowe.

Dave Ward is charged with acts contrary to good sportsmanship – contrary to Law 10.4(m).

The Quins hooker was cited for allegedly biting Jackson Wray of Saracens in the second half.

James Horwill has also been charged for punching or striking – contrary to Law 10.4(a).

He is alleged to have struck Saracens lock George Kruis in the first half of the match.

The hearings will be heard by a panel chaired by Julian Morris.
