Reed set sail to Sale Sharks

Born in Treorchy, the lock started his career at the Celtic Warriors before joining Scarlets where he played over 100 games.

He joined Cardiff Blues in 2012 and has represented them on 40 occasions including 17 games last season.

Reed was named in the 45 man training squad for the 2015 World Cup and made his full international debut against Scotland in February 2012. He went on to play against the Wallabies in the tests at the Millennium Stadium.

The 28-year-old was part of the 2013 Wales team that went on to win the Six Nations Championship. Reed also toured Japan with Wales in 2013.
