NEWS: Premiership side Bath have re-signed back row forward Leroy Houston on a short-term deal until the end of October.

Houston left Bath, having agreed a move to the Reds with the hope of furthering his international career with Australia. However, now that the Super Rugby season has finished, Houston has been released to join his old club.

The 29-year-old has recently been playing for Brisbane City in the Australian National Rugby Championship.

"We're very excited for Leroy [Houston] to be coming back to the club for a couple of months to give us some cover whilst we have a few injuries. We're really thankful to the Reds for helping make this happen.

"He's a fantastic character and a brilliant player and because he knows the place so well, we know he'll settle straight back in and be a real asset for us," Bath Director of Rugby Todd Blackadder said.
