New Zealand-born Luamanu commits to Harlequins

Joining the club ahead of the 2015/16 season, the powerful backrow has made 18 appearances since his debut against Wasps in October 2015.

Commenting on the news, Harlequins Director of Rugby, John Kingston said: "I am very pleased that [Luamanu] has committed to the club going forward. He has made a considerable impact with his physical presence and his professional approach to the game. There is far more to come from him and I am delighted it will be in a Harlequins shirt,"

The New Zealand-born former Auckland Blue added: "I am delighted to extend my contract with Harlequins and I’m really excited about moving forward with this extremely talented group of players. My family and I feel very much at home here and I would like to thank the club for their support,"
