Nott pens five-year deal with Sharks
NEWS: George Nott became the latest Sale Sharks player to commit his long-term future to the club when he signed a five-year deal.
Nott played a big part in helping the England Under 20 win the U20 World Championship last summer and was named in the team of the tournament.
George follows 11 other players namely; Josh Beaumont, Mike Haley, Bryn Evans, TJ Ioane, Cameron Neild, Sam James, Will Addison, Paolo Odogwu, Ross Harrison, Tom Curry and Ben Curry, who have all pledged their long-term futures to the club.
Director of Rugby Steve Diamond said: "Signing Notty on a five-year deal is great news for the club. The drain on players coming through our successful Academy system and then moving south has come to an end.
"We reached the Academy final this season for the first time ever and we are currently in the process of signing many of those players up long term too,"
On signing the five-year deal George Nott said: "I am delighted to have signed my new deal. Sale Sharks is where I want to play my rugby and am looking forward to helping the club achieve their ambitions in the years ahead,"
Nott added: "I would like to thank both Chester RUFC and Fylde RUFC who have given me valuable game time in my career too,"
