Vui has been a standout performer for the Warriors since joining on a short-term deal and will make the switch to Ashton Gate ahead of the 2017/18 campaign.

"Chris comes with excellent pedigree and he's another highly-rated young player – with international experience – to add to our ranks," said head coach Mark Tainton.

"Chris is an abrasive and physical utility forward with a huge amount of quality. The way he has performed for Worcester since he arrived at Sixways has been very impressive – he's been one of their best performing players this season.

"He is eager to play for an ambitious club and be part of our journey. We're delighted to welcome him to Ashton Gate next season."

New Zealand-born Vui represented New Zealand U20s in the 2013 World Championships and the Blues in Super Rugby.

He said: "It's good to agree terms with Bristol – I'm excited about getting started. It was obviously a difficult decision to leave Worcester and I understand the position that Bristol are in, but I am looking forward to the challenge and contributing to the ambitions that Pat and the Club are working towards."
