The incident occurred in the first half of his side's 14-38 defeat to Bath on Saturday, November 25.

Chisholm pleaded guilty to the charge and was suspended for a period of three weeks. He is available to play again on December 19.

The chairman of the panel Jeremy Summers said: "The panel found that this was a reckless and poorly executed tip tackle that caused no injury or effect on the game.

"As such, it merited a low-end entry point of six weeks. Due to the player’s guilty plea, clean record and remorse, the panel gave full mitigation resulting in a ban of three weeks,"
