No contract extension for Wasps quartet

The 28-year-old Symons joined Wasps from London Irish two years ago and has since been seen 31 times in black-and-gold.

Other names on the unwanted list are Paul Doran Jones, Kyle Eastmond and Brendan Macken.

Former Northampton and London Welsh prop Doran Jones joined Wasps from Gloucester last summer and has since appeared four times in black-and-gold.

Eastmond, The dual-code international centre, left Bath for the Ricoh Arena during 2016. Subsequently, he has played 23 times for Wasps, scoring four tries.

Macken, the Blackrock College product arrived at Wasps from Leinster in 2015. During his three-year stint in Coventry Macken has scored nine tries in 30 appearances.

"On behalf of everyone at Wasps I would like to thank Paul, Kyle, Brendan and Matt for their contributions," Young said.

"Professional rugby is a tough world within which players and coaches do move clubs, but it still can be a sad time when faces change.

Wasps will provide further updates on their 2018/19 squad during the course of May.
