INJURY UPDATE: Ireland international Garry Ringrose is set for a lengthy lat-off after he underwent an operation last Monday.

The surgery, to address an ongoing shoulder issue, was successful.

However, Ringrose will be sidelined for four to five months, depending on his rehabilitation.

The Leinster midfielder started in all three of Ireland's June tour fixtures - against the United Sates and Japan, scoring two tries and kicking one conversion.

This came at the end of a season in which Ringrose started 17 games for Leinster - nine in the Pro12 competition and eight in the European Champions Cup - scoring seven tries.
