Zebre v Connacht abandoned

The conditions caused considerable risk to both the players and spectators at Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi. Referee Ian Davies made the decision to abandon the match due to a prolonged spell of lightning and hailstones.

Because the game was abandoned after only 40 minutes of play the result of the fixture is null and void. As such a replay of the fixture will be required and the date of the rearranged game, which will be played across the regulation period of 80 minutes, will be announced in due course.

Zebre held a 22-10 lead before the decision was made.
