INJURY UPDATE: The Southern Kings will need reinforcements for the front row for their Pro14 clash against Leinster in Port Elizabeth on Saturday.

Props Ettienne Swanepoel and Rossouw De Klerk will miss the match against the Irish side after suffering blows to the head in their side's 10-32 defeat to Connacht last weekend.

The duo has since failed their mandatory head impact assessments (HIA's).

Swanepoel's case was the more serious of the two as he was knocked unconscious for a while.

However, he did not suffer any serious damage as was first feared.

Meanwhile, prop forward Schalk Ferreira suffered a gash alongside the eye while hooker Michael Willemse suffered and a cut to the back of his head.

Both players are expected to recover in time for the visit of Leinster this weekend at the Nelson Mandela Stadium.
