Travel woes for Cardiff ahead of Cheetahs clash
NEWS: The Cardiff Blues endured a nightmare 55-hour journey from the United Kingdom to Bloemfontein ahead of their Pro14 clash with the Cheetahs on Saturday.
The Blues only arrived in Bloemfontein on Friday just over 20 hours ahead of their scheduled clash at the Free State Stadium.
Flight delays from London to South Africa and again from Johannesburg to Bloemfontein was the cause of the Blues' horror journey.
Due to their late arrival, the match, which was scheduled for 15.00 local time (13.00 GMT) will now be played at 18.15 local time (16.15 GMT).
According to WalesOnline, the Blues arrived in Bloemfontein with their bags nowhere to be seen, meaning they still don't have any kit.
