FIRA holds RWC wash-up

FIA-AER, the body responsible for a great deal of rugby in Europe with its secretariat in Paris, is holding a conference in Madrid to assess the 2007 Rugby World Cup with a view to 2011. Amongst those present will be coaches from the nine countries who took part in the 2007 World Cup plus coaches from several of the other FIRA-AER countries. In assessing the 2007 World Cup they will seek "to define policies for 2011 as regards game and training of the young player". Those who attend from the nine countries who took part in the World Cup are Brian Ashton (England), Jean-Claude Skrela (France), George Graham and Alan Tait (Scotland), Mark Bennet and Rhys Long (Wales), Jean-Philippe Carrias (Italy), Robert Ion and Christian Haldan (Romania), George Tchumburidze (Georgia) and Henrique Rocha (Portugal). There will also be a training course for coaches under the supervision of Michel Arpaillange and Pierre Villepreux. Those attending the training course are: Peter Ianusevici (Germany), Brian Ashton (England), Gaël Mouysset (Austria), Philippe Ernst (Belgium), Enes Begicevic (Bosnia Herzegovina), Dariel Yanev (Bulgaria), Niall Doherty (Cyprus), Tihomir Jankovic (Croatia), Douglas Langley (Denmark), Richie Dixon (Scotland), Ged Glynn and Juan Carlos Bravo (Spain), Bro Bannatyne (Finland), Jean Claude Skrela (France), George Tchumburidze (Georgia), Kostas Tsampaos (Greece), Dominique Danton (Netherlands), Lukacs Csaba (Hungary)
