End of first 2011 qualifiers

Either Trinidad & Tobago or Guyana will go through to the next round of World Cup qualifiers after their match in the Cayman Islands on Saturday.

It is the final round of the Caribbean Championship which, for the first time, doubles as a qualifier for the 2011 World Cup. The winner of the final will go on to play the winner of the Consur B championship, featuring Brazil, Paraguay, Colombia, Venezuela and Peru, later in 2008.

It is still a long road to New Zealand 1011.

During the tournament the Webb Ellis Cup has been on display at the ground as well as at schools and clubs. For the local Cayman Islands rugby family, staging the tournament has offered a massive opportunity.
