Fiji will play Kenya in the Final after the Africans edged Argentina 15-12 after some heroics from Collins Injera.

Cup semifinals:

The BlitzBoks opened the scoring when Seabelo Senatla sent Justin Geduld into space out wide for the first try. Geduld converted and South Africa led 7-0 after three minutes.

However, a minute and a half later Fiji's offloading game split the BlitzBoks defence for a converted try to level the scores.

Fiji then could not secure possession at the restart and South Africa took full advantage with Chris Dry sprinting in for his team's second try.

South Africa looked to set to take a seven-point lead into the break, however, Fiji hit back once again when Jasa veremalua cantered in for a score. At half-time it was 14-14.

There was some end-to-end running rugby at the start of the second half and South Africa took the lead once when Senatla ran through a gap in the Fiji defence to score. Geduld added the extra two points and it was 21-14 in favour of the BlitzBoks with just over three minutes left.

With just 50 second left Fiji scored a crucial try, which was converted to bring the scores level once gain.

Alivereti Veitokani then broke South African hearts when he went over in the corner after the full-time hooter to secure the win.

The other semifinal between Argentina and Kenya was more of an arm-wrestle as both team's struggled to breach their opponent's defence.

Fernando Luna opened the scoring 30 minutes before half-time with a converted try to give his team a 7-0 lead at the break.

The Kenyans were the first to score in the second half when Augustine Lugonzo got a try back for his team. The conversion was good and it was all level with five minutes to go.

Two minutes later Argentina were back in front when Axel Muller sprinted in for his team's second try. That lead did not last long as Frank Wanyama showed a clean pair of heels to outsprint Argentina's defenders to score and bring the scores level with just over a minute left on the clock.

With time up on the clock Kenya were awarded a penalty and Collins Injera, from 42 metres sent the ball through the uprights to send his team through to the Final to face Fiji.
