Kiwis name two rookies for home town tourney

At the same time, DJ Forbes will make a record-breaking 82nd Sevens World Series appearance and his 11th in Wellington.

All Blacks Sevens captain Scott Curry said he is looking for the home advantage to give his side a welcome boost on Saturday and Sunday.

"We've had some pretty good wins here and won the last three in a row, so we're hoping for a fourth," he told worldrugby.org.

"Obviously it's a bit of an interesting time for us, with a changing of the guard in terms of the coaching and a bit of a fresh start for us as a team. We're learning plenty of new stuff so hopefully, we can improve on what we've done so far," he said.

New Zealand's Pool C includes the United States, France and Samoa, the side now coached by former New Zealand coach Gordon Tietjens.
