INJURY UPDATE: France's depth in the No.2 jersey will be seriously tested when this year's Six Nations starts.

Saracens hooker Christopher Tolofua has been ruled out of France's opening Six Nations match against Ireland on Saturday with a back injury.

Tolofua, capped seven times, is the second back-up to captain Guilhem Guirado to withdraw from the squad after Camille Chat pulled out with a bout of flu.

That leaves coach Jacques Brunel with just rookie Adrien Pelissie as replacement for Guirado for Saturday's Stade de France showdown.
