INJURY UPDATE: England coach Eddie Jones has been forced to call up reinforcements, as injury struck hard in the opening round of the Six Nations.

Richard Wigglesworth has been added to England's squad for Saturday's Six Nations showdown with Wales following an injury to Ben Youngs.

Leicester Tigers scrum-half Youngs sustained a potentially tournament-ending knee injury in last Sunday's 46-15 win over Italy in Rome.

His Saracens counterpart Wigglesworth now comes into the reckoning, having been named in a 32-man pool by coach Jones.

Wigglesworth has won 27 caps and featured at both the 2011 and 2015 World Cups.

Exeter hooker Luke Cowan-Dickie has also been included, with Wasps' Nathan Hughes set to have fitness assessed before a decision is taken on his participation in the championship.

Like England, Wales won their opening match, putting on an impressive showing to down Scotland 34-7 in Cardiff.

England squad:

Backs: Mike Brown (Harlequins), Nathan Earle (Saracens), Harry Mallinder (Northampton Saints), Jonny May (Leicester Tigers), Denny Solomona (Sale Sharks), Anthony Watson (Bath), Danny,  Care (Harlequins), Owen Farrell (Saracens), George Ford (Leicester Tigers), Jonathan Joseph (Bath), Jack Nowell (Exeter Chiefs), Ben Te’o (Worcester Warriors), Richard Wigglesworth (Saracens).
