Czechs put up a fight

Mon, 31 Mar 2008 14:26

The Lelos of Georgia beat the Czech Republic 22-3 in a European Nations Cup match in Prague. The result was expected but not the home side's great effort.

The Czechs have not won a single one of their nine matches in Division 1. This was their second last match and their best as they prepare to take the drop to Division 2 next year.

The Lelos scored three tries to nil and go to the top of the division but all will still rest on their match against the Russians on 12 April.
