Smiles all round in Buenos Aires

It was the Argentinian side's first victory since Round One and captain Agustin Creevy was a happy man after the game.

"We are happy – we knew we were not playing well, but today we improved on the things that went wrong in previous matches, especially in attitude," said Creevy.

"We got a lot criticism during the week, but today was a good game, not only the result but also our style of play.

"Things went well in the line-out, scrum and defence, which were areas that we struggled in."

Creevy said they will be looking to build on their win when they face the Sharks after their bye.

"Against Sharks, I imagine a tough game. We know that if we do things right we can win, but we must work hard in these two weeks to be at our best," Creevy added.

Star centre Matias Moroni believes their 11 tries came from their sustained intensity throughout the 80 minutes.

"We needed the win today," said Moroni. "There was a lot of pressure on us and hopefully now we can reverse everything that did notgo well for us previously.

"I think the attitude was very good. We played for 80 minutes with the same intensity. We want to thank the people who came.

"Seeing the stadium with so many people after what was a difficult tour, was very comforting."
