Li has cemented himself as the Blues' first choice left winger this year, starting every game and scoring four tries.

Elsewhere, Andrew Horrell will head overseas after the Chiefs' Super Rugby season.

The Hawke's Bay utility is taking up a contract to play in Japan.

Horrell has been with the Chiefs since 2012 and was part of the squad that won back-to-back Super Rugby titles in 2012 and 2013.
