Tamanivalu is unavailable for the match after sustaining an MCL injury in their Round 17 clash against the Highlanders. He will be assessed on a week-by-week basis.
With both Charlie Ngatai and Andrew Horrell still suffering from concussion, the Chiefs' have little options, outside of Anton Lienert-Brown.
