The two-day event is scheduled to occur on February 11, and will feature  14 teams from around the world, including ten Australian and New Zealand Super Rugby teams, along with the Bulls (South Africa), Toulon (France), Wild Knights (Japan) and Tonga.

Assistant coach Andrew Strawbridge said: "We are really looking forward to being part of this shortened format of the game and the challenges it provides around physicality and manipulation of space. The tactical challenges of Tens will test us all,"

In addition to the historic Brisbane Global Rugby Tens, the Chiefs will play a preseason fixture against the Bulls on Thursday. February 9. The preseason match is being played at Ballymore Stadium in Brisbane.
