INJURY UPDATE: The Chiefs will be without flank Sam Cane and prop Nepo Laulala for their clash against the Stormers at Newlands on Saturday.

Both players got concussed in the 28-12 win over the Bulls last weekend and will not be boarding the plane with their teammates for the tour to South Africa.

However, the Chiefs are keeping their fingers crossed that Cane will be available for their second match on tour against the Cheetahs in Bloemfontein.

Cane will travel over on Thursday pending fitness to prepare for the match against the Cheetahs.

Other players unavailable for selection includes Brad Weber, Mitchell Graham, Nathan Harris, James Tucker, Glen Fisiiahi, Chase Tiatia, Charlie Ngatai, Tim Nanai-Williams, Liam Polwart and Michael Allardice.

Both the Chiefs and the Stormers are currently unbeaten in this year's tournament.
