SUPER RUGBY DISCIPLINARY NEWS: Highlanders wing Waisake Naholo, Bulls lock Rudolph Snyman and Southern Kings prop Ross Geldenhuys will all face disciplinary hearings after Round 12.

Naholo and Snyman were both issued with red cards in the Highlanders' 17-10 win over the Bulls in Pretoria at the weekend.

Geldenhuys will be in the dock after his third yellow card of the season.

Naholo is charged with having contravened Law 10.4(e): Dangerous tackling of an Opponent.

His case is to be considered in the first instance by the SANZAAR foul play review committee, which will take place on Monday, May 15 via video-conference.

Snyman is alleged to have contravened Law 10.4(h): A Player must not charge into a ruck or maul.

His case will also take place via video conference on Monday.

Geldenhuys was been issued with a third yellow card/warning offence this season and will appear before the foul play review committee.

Geldenhuys was awarded a yellow card in Round One, a yellow card in Round Four and a yellow card in Round 12.

The SANZAAR Judicial Rules in Section 8 of the Tournament Manual state: 6.1 - A Player who has received three yellow cards or three warnings (or any combination thereof) arising from matches in the same Super Rugby season shall be required to appear before the foul play review committee appointed for the match during which he last offended. At the same time as notification of the details of his hearing pursuant to Rule 4.1, the player shall be sent copies of the match officials' reports in relation to each incident and be advised that the purpose of the hearing before the foul play review committee is to consider the circumstances in which each yellow card and/or warning was imposed and determine whether any further penalty should be imposed on him by reason of his persistent foul play, or the matter referred to a full hearing, pursuant to Rule 7.

The Case is to be considered in the first instance by the SANZAAR foul play review committee which will take place on Monday via video conference.

All SANZAAR disciplinary matters are in the first instance referred to the foul play review committee to provide the option of expediting the judicial process.

For a matter to be dispensed with at this hearing, the person appearing must plead guilty and accept the penalty offered by the foul play review committee.
