The Sharks and Bulls meet at Kings Park in Durban on Friday as Super Rugby resumes after the June international break.

The Durban-based side already secured their place in the quarterfinals and will be looking to build some momentum heading into the play-offs.

However, Oosthuizen knows that the Bulls will be out to make life difficult for them.

"They [Bulls] are a helluva good side," said Oosthuizen. "Don't get me wrong, the players that they have are very good rugby players at the end of the day and it is as easy as a mind shift to start winning.

Bulls are a 'helluva good side' says Sharks prop"I think them coming here where they are in the log of Super Rugby, I don't think they are just going to lie down and say 'our Super Rugby is at an end'. They are going to come out swinging and give it their best."

South African derbies can be brutal affairs and Oosthuizen is expecting nothing less on Friday.

"South African derbies are always the hardest, especially when you know the players. They are good mates of yours and they always have a ball actually, so I think they try to hurt you or try to get under your skin because they know you on a personal level.

"South African derbies are unexplainable – we all try and play the same brand of rugby, with some tweaks here and there making us different in some ways. But it is always physical, it is always a forwards' game and it is the type of game you look forward to.

"I think them coming here [to Durban from Pretoria at altitude], they got more oxygen, so they are going to be up for this game. This might be one of our toughest games physically.

"They got a heavy pack of forwards, so scrum wise and line-out wise and physically, I think we need pitch up in all three aspects. If you lack in one of them it is going to be a tough game," Oosthuizen added.
