Pulu suffered a foot injury in his side's 21-27 loss to the Chiefs in Auckland on Friday.

It means Pulu will miss his side's matches against the Lions (Johannesburg) and the Stormers (Cape Town) over the next two weekends.

Sam Nock and Otago recruit Jonathan Ruru will share the No.9 duties in South Africa.

The good news for the Blues is that they are set to have All Blacks centre Sonny Bill Williams available for the two matches in South Africa.

Williams missed the Chiefs clash with knee and head knocks.
