Chiefs suffer huge losses to injury

Prop Nepo Laulala suffered a fractured forearm in the Chiefs 27-21 victory over the Blues in Auckland on Friday. He will require surgery and is expected to be out for eight-12 weeks.

Meanwhile, Atunaisa Moli had complications from a quad hematoma which required surgery. He has been ruled out for the season.

Samoan international Tim Nanai-Williams had surgery on Friday to stabilise his shoulder. He has been ruled out for the season as well.

Brodie Retallick, who withdrew from Friday's match after getting a poke in the eye at training, has completely recovered and will be available for selection next week.

Shaun Stevenson injured his knee in the warm-up last weekend and will be assessed this week.

The Chiefs have a bye in Round Four.
