Forceful blow for Horua
Fri, 29 Aug 2008 09:00
Experienced flank Tamaiti Horua has been ruled out of the Western Force's final UK match on their tour of the United Kingdom, against Leicester Tigers at Welford Road on Saturday.
Horua was ordered to sit out the match by team medical staff after a training session in Leicester on Thursday, still suffering the ill effects from a head-knock he sustained in the 3-22 loss to Northampton last weekend.
Horua was initially named at lock in hope that he would be fit to take part in the match. His place in the starting line-up will be filled by 21-year-old Perth-Bayswater lock Brent Murphy, who was originally named on the replacement bench.
Australian Under-20 forward Tom Murday has been named in Murphy's place on the bench.
The majority of the Western Force squad will return to Perth on September 3, following Saturday's tour finale.
