Force to fight without Giteau

Wallaby star Matt Giteau has snubbed a long term deal by the Western Force which would have seen him play for the franchise untill 2011.
Giteau's current contract expires in 2009 but there's been specualation about the player seeking legal advice to get out of his contract before next year's Super 14.
"Yes I have declined the offer. It's not what everybody seems to think though. That's all I can say about it," he told the Sunday Times.
When asked about next season he said," Dunno. I've got a Wallaby tour to think about.
Force officials have put together a $1.6 million deal to help compensate Giteau for the recent third-party sponsorship collapse with Firepower fuel.
The deal breaker was that Giteau extend his current contract form 2009 till 2011 but the Wallaby star is likely to end his stint with the Force as early as early as next year as no other offer has been put on the table that extends
beyond the 2009 season.
"We acknowledge there's a level of uncertainty about 2010 and 2011 and we understand there might be moves for Matt to move before the start of next season," said RugbyWA Chairman, Geoff Stooke.
