Proudfoot storming to the Cape

Former Scotland international prop Matthew Proudfoot has been linked with a move to Western Province.
Proudfoot has been making a name for himself with the NWU-Puk rugby team in Potchefstroom and is regarded as one of the most promising coaches in South Africa.
He is likely to assist Rassie Erasmus by moulding the Stormers forwards, a void which has been left by Gary Gold, who took up the Springbok assistant coaching job this year.
There is also a possibility that Proudfoot may take over from Allister Coetzee for Western Province’s Currie Cup campaign.
