You! You\'re good!: Danny Cipriani in charge for Wasps.
Out-of-favour England flyhalf Danny Cipriani is in talks with the Melbourne Rebels about a possible move to Australia to join the new Super 15 franchise, The Times reported on Thursday.
Cipriani, 22, whose contract at Wasps ends in May, held talks in London last week with representatives of the club, the newspaper said.
Rebels head coach Rod Macqueen told The Times the club were targeting Cipriani among 10 overseas players it wants to sign for next season.
"Danny is obviously the type of player we would like. He is a very talented individual and one of the players who has the skill-set that would be suitable to Super 15. He seemed very interested," Macqueen said.
Cipriani has fallen out of favour in the England set-up since Martin Johnson became team manager.
The report said he had grown disenchanted at his predicament and was seriously considering rejecting an improved contract from Wasps and joining the drain of English rugby talent to foreign clubs.
Cipriani has attracted widespread coverage for his relationship with British actress Kelly Brook, but has insisted it does not affect his game.
