Force too strong for Staniforth to resist
Tue, 29 Jun 2010 12:28
Australian utility back Scott Staniforth has decided to remain at the Western Force after rejecting offers from several rival clubs, including the Waratahs.
The 106 Super Rugby capped veteran has captained the western force before and boasts 10 international caps.
He also enjoyed a short stint playing for Japanese club Yokogawa at the end of 2009, but has returned to his former team following the Waratahs decision to sign fellow Western Force utility back Ryan Cross over Staniforth.
He will now join the Western Forces 2011 squad to take part in the inaugural Super 15 tournament next year.
