Hynes likes that Reds look

In-form Reds wing Peter Hynes has extended his term with the Reds for another two years. Hynes, 25, is playing some of the best rugby of his career under the new Reds playing style and cites that as one of his key reasons for signing on for 2009 and 2010.
"I'm really enjoying my rugby with the Reds: our backline is creating a lot of space which is tremendous for me as a winger," Hynes said.
Performance Manager Ben Whitaker said Hynes' talent, versatility and commitment made him a valuable member of the Reds squad and of the Reds' succession plan.
"We're delighted that Peter has stayed loyal, that he recognises this team is going places and that he wants to be a part of the Reds' future," Whitaker said.
"He can play anywhere along the backline – and has done. He definitely has the skills to play wing, centre or fullback, for the reds and Australia," Whitaker said.
Hynes has represented Australia at 'A', Under-21, Under-19 and Sevens level and Whitaker believes his current form is worthy of close study by Wallaby selectors.
"Peter has really developed into the full package. He's such a balanced runner that he can change direction without losing speed, which makes him very elusive, especially in broken play. And his defence is first class."
Hynes has earned 62 career caps with the Reds to date and would love to reach the prestigious 100 mark.
"I've got a long way to go before I reach 100 games but it would be tremendous if it happened," said Hynes, who made his Queensland debut in 2003 and who holds the honour of scoring the first Reds try at Suncorp Stadium, against the Waratahs in 2004.
To date he has played 52 Super Rugby games for the Reds and scored 50 points, from 10 tries. His total points tally for the Reds is 55.
