Tialata cited for dangerous tackle

Hurricanes prop Neemia Tialata will appear before a SANZAR Judicial Officer after being cited for a dangerous tackle in the Round 13 Super 14 match between the 'Canes and Western Force at Westpac Stadium in Wellington on Friday.

Tialata was cited by Citing Commissioner Steve Hinds for a dangerous tackle on Western Force player Dane Haylett-Petty in the 73rd minute of the match.

Tialata will appear before Judicial Officer Chris Morris at the New Zealand Rugby Union (NZRU) offices in Wellington on Monday, May 12. The hearing is due to start at 16.00 local time.
