Perpignan beat Bayonne 30-13 on Friday night in a postponed Round 14 match in the Top 14 to leap to the top of the log.

The reigning champions have come good of late and look in a good position to be serious contenders to keep their crown. They are level on points with Castres but have a better points' difference. Scoring three tires to one gave the visitors a bonus point.
