Boks a big hit in Dunedin

The Springboks' return to their House of Pain, Carisbrook in Dunedin, will be a sell-out affair. It has been confirmed that all tickets for the Tri-Nations Test between the All Blacks and Boks in Dunedin on July 12 have been sold out.
In fact, due to the demand for tickets, the Otago Rugby Union (ORU) has decided to bring in 450 temporary seats.
Richard Reid, CEO of the ORU, said that the need to bring temporary seats in is due to the fact that the people in the southern region want big rugby games and have shown their support by purchasing tickets.
The encounter between New Zealand and South Africa next month will be the first international at Carisbrook since the All Blacks beat the Boks 31-27 at the House of Pain on August 27, 2005 in a Tri-Nations game.
It is also a match which will celebrate 100 years of Test rugby at Carisbrook.
"We have been pleased at how this test match has captured the attention of the public south of the Waitaki and the wider public, and would like to thank them for their support," Reid said.
"From clubs through to students through to businesses down here, everyone has been excited that test match rugby is back here and have come out in force."
Currently, there are no other seats available in the ground for sale.
The temporary seats will be available from Tuesday and will only be available through the Carisbrook office.
